FUMP is coming at you with a big underground techno line up for the first half of 2024, featuring the revered Icelandic techno artist Exos for his first and exclusive Thailand set since his huge show at the iconic Bangkok Glow club in 2020, and USA’s Phase Ǿbjekt for their first Live machine techno performance in Thailand.

Supporting is a solid line up of some of Thailand best international and local DJs, including SanguzJ (Spain), BLAC Koncept (Australia), Lupo (Germany), Nanny Satisfy (Thailand) and DJ Berry (Myanmar).

FUMP is taking over Bangkok’s newest underground venue ETA club and giving you 2 levels of music at the one event. Level 1 bar zone with space to chill and groove with minimal house/ techno and acid sounds, and level 2 where hard, raw and hypnotic techno will be pumping all night long. ETA’s rave bunker vibe, clean and pumping sound and intelligent lighting systems will make for an epic techno event. Let’s FUMP again!

About Exos

Exos stands as one of Iceland’s most revered techno artists, with a career that stretches back to the mid-nineties. Over the years, he has released more than thirty vinyl releases and four groundbreaking albums. His journey began at the age of 17 with his debut EP on Thule Records, an Icelandic dub techno label known for its unique minimal sound. His third album, My Home is Sonic, was reissued in 2015 by the iconic Delsin Records, and is celebrated as a modern dub techno masterpiece, earning the title of Album of the Year 2001 by Iceland’s premier newspaper, mbl.is.

Since 2013, Exos has experienced a remarkable resurgence, fueled by a renewed critical appreciation of his extensive catalog. This revival allowed him to infuse new life into his storied career, with fresh material and reissues of lost classics on трип records. In early 2017, he launched the X/OZ label, which has become a platform for his versatile style and deep sensitivity, both in the studio and on stage.

Exos continues to expand his horizons, bringing his unique sound to renowned labels such as Figure, BPitch, Mutual Rhythm, and soon, Tresor. While exploring these diverse platforms, he remains dedicated to his own label, Planet X, which delves into the harder edges of his sound. There, he consistently pushes the boundaries of techno. His enduring appeal lies in his relentless innovation and commitment to his roots, solidifying his place as a pivotal figure in the techno scene. His ability to adapt and innovate across different styles highlights his enduring impact on the electronic music scene.

About Phase Ǿbjekt

Phase Ǿbjekt is a collaboration project by Rolando Hodar & Marco Di Prima, providing powerful ammunition of unrelenting techno productions and live performances. Showcasing machines and landscapes, Phase Ǿbjekt is delivering new and fresh music to the techno universe, and is providing a new dimension musically as well as visually from the mind altering visuals of Null Ǿbjekt (Paul Gervais). Not only the fierce and hard techno. Phase Ǿbjekt will aim to provide a diverse balance of all types of techno, ranging from the heavy, to the dark, from deep to mysterious, and always striving to maintain the roots of the underground sound and edge. Live performances will include improvised modular synths through the Eurorack, and samplers and sequencers, re-creating original productions and remixes on the fly.
